No, this is not a drill! I had the absolute pleasure of being part of an intimate dinner with the Founder and CEO of Makeup by Mario, Mario Dedivanovic, to unveil his first foundation, the SurrealSkin Foundation, and I will never forget it!

It was a magical night at La Mar by Gastón Acurio, surrounded by amazing people, including the Makeup by Mario team and Mario himself. I tried to stay chill, but my insides were jumping at the privilege of being in the presence of such a talented individual!

One thing that Mario said that stuck with me was that he stayed humble and manifested his entire brand. Manifestation is powerful, but while manifesting greatness, never forget the hard work you have to put in for your dreams to come to life. Mario is the definition of a hard worker. He was only 17 when he started working at Sephora and didn't even own a makeup kit, so he used a Nike shoebox from his closet filled with products from Sephora and did people's makeup for $25. He set a goal that would drive the rest of his career—he would become a professional makeup artist with the dream of one day having his line. Now, he is recognized as one of the world's most acclaimed, and influential makeup artists.

I'm still pinching myself about this night! What a great way to kick off 2023!

A little about The SurrealSkin Foundation, he made it breathable with a luminous, glowy finish. It effortlessly builds and blends to the complexion with customizable, long-wearing coverage. Check it out, and thank me later!

xoxo,
